Telluride is the Place to Be!

There are fabulous options for lodging, too. Telluride has two new luxury hotels; The Lumiere boutique hotel is rated “One of the World’s Sexiest Lodges” by MSNBC and Capella Telluride is the only 6-star hotel in North America, and has a total of 3 new restaurants and bars, plus a skating rink. Both are in the Village core and accessible from downtown via the gondola. In the historic Town of Telluride there were complete renovations of the Hotel Columbia and the New Sheridan Hotel. Other great news for the area includes the Revelation Bowl and its accompanying new quad lift, opened to rave reviews by skiers, and the 2008-2009 ski season may break last year’s record snowfall. This summer the airport will receive the last portion of $50 million in grants from the FAA to upgrade and improve the facility. We hope to see you here soon!
